About Daisy Dead Petals

After lurking the web for several years as a preteen, K-Chan (now known as Kyoko), became interested in graphic and web design in 2005 and began her journey on a now non-existent anime hosting site called Kylosa. Her first site, K-Chan's Anime Multi-Media, was a moderate success among anime and manga fans, but never lived up to it's name 'multi-media' due to the lack of high-speed internet that was supposed to have been available at that time. Six months later, the site changed it's name to Impressionate Designs. The site only lasted a few months on until Kylosa disappeared off the internet. Hundreds of hostee's sites were lost, along with Kyoko's. With the help of a friend and fellow staff member, Annie Zhao, Impressionate Designs was once again back on the internet from Anna's own domain. Impressionate Designs lasted until early 2007, until she went on a long hiatus, her hostess eventually shutting down her domain and re-opening a new one.

Once again, Kyoko found herself wanting to restart her site, but this time, a completely new site would be in the works. She found herself another host, Pup, the owner of then Never-Ending Anime, and her new site had finally begun conception. Rapturous Skies, although it never saw the light of day, was indeed the backbone for Daisy Dead Petals as you know it today. Rapturous Skies started out as a portfolio site, much like this once, only somewhat more complex in content, that eventually caused it to evanescent from being only partially completed. The host soon closed her site down in early 2009 and Rapturous Skies, much like Impressionate Designs, disappeared.

After a year of hiatus from the web design world, Kyoko got her first debit card along with money to purchase her own domain. With this new path unfolding before her, she created Daisy Dead Petals and began to work on it until the beginning of October.

Along with maintaining her own sites, Kyoko was once also co-webmistress to her best friend's now shut down website, Delusion. Kyoko applied for co-webmistress in August of 2005, the same month her site launched (August 18, 2005). The site lasted until the end of 2007, going through three different transformations. The site was originally InuYasha Stars, a graphics and fan site for the hit anime and manga series InuYasha, and sometime in 2006, it changed it's name to Anime Stars as the webmistress, Jessica, became interested in many other anime. In early 2007, Anime Stars had it's final name changed to Delusion until it's eventual closure in the latter part of 2007 from the lack of updates. From nearly the beginning of 2007, the site was mostly updated by Kyoko herself as the webmistress began losing interest in graphics design, which was a main factor in the site's demise. Maintaining Delusion was also a big factor in Rapturous Skies' failure to launch.
